17.12.2016 – DID YOU RECEIVE AN E-MAIL FROM THE DROPBOX TEAM ?
Today
I found a
scaring mail from the Dropbox team, and you have probably found
the same in your mailbox. If the public links will be transferred to
private links, you will in the future find above screen message when
you click the links on our site or in our many files informing about
the project.
As there are today
thousands of public links in thousands of files it will not be
realistic to change all links within the nextcoming years. In the
above mentioned mail this new “feature” is specified as an
“improvement”, but it is clear, that “the Dropbox team” have
no feeling of how Dropbox is used by its users, and especially the
consequenses of this of descision. – It will become a disaster, and
we hope that you will send your protest via
Forum or send an
e-mail, and that this will enable us to change the descision. –
If you receive a response from Dropbox please send us info, which
will be kept confidential …

Several
participants of the ORC WORLDS COPENHAGEN 2016 showed an interest in
our beloved KDY-Juniorboat, and some of the Canadian team members of
”Vigna”
(A-003) showed a significant interest and will hopefully help us in
reaching the current owners of the mahogany Juniorboats in Canada …
– J-242 is today based in Skovshoved and is a famous example of
this boat tyype, as it in 1961 was donated to Hellerup Sejlklub,
based on the Olympic Silver Medal won by the Flying Dutchman team
Hans
Fogh
and Ole
Gunnar Petersen
in the Napoli Bay in 1960. – The boat was built by Aage
Walsted
and the name became ”Napoli”
and was a training boat for about 10 years in Hellerup. – In the
search of the american and canadian mahogany Juniorboats we publish
the articles from the 50-ties
and you can as well read most of these in English.
– The mahogany Juniorboats were promoted at exhibitions in both
Toronto and San Fransisco, and there were great interest for the Danish quality boats. – Please

As
some you have noticed, that we during these days have been taking
some private photos ahead of starts and during the races, we have
been asked whether these photos could be shared with the

interest. – By sending an e-mail to:
juniorbaads.registeret(et)gmail.com
you will receive an invitation to join a shared folder, and we hope
that you will enjoy some exiting moments of concentration during
your, your team and competitor's race, and that this will become a
memory of this event. – It's a free of charge service, so you can
exit as soon as you have downloaded the photos if you like. – OBS:
Please observe that we accept NO claims if the photo is NOT exactly
as you would have liked it, so don't use time for claiming. – If
you want to support us, you can request an invitation to an e-mail
account who are currently not using Dropbox, and upon acceptance of
our invitation both accounts receive additional memory. By this we
will keep access to the photos for the future …
